An intimate evening of opera gems with international star Jamie Barton, mezzo soprano. Fresh from her starring role in Jake Heggie’s “Intelligence” premiering at Houston Grand Opera, this will be Ms. Barton’s first performance in Taos, NM.
Ms. Barton’s 2007 win at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions launched a major international career that includes leading roles at many of the world’s most-loved opera houses including Metropolitan Opera, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington National, Chicago Lyric Opera of Chicago, Teatro Real Madrid, Santa Fe Opera, Frankfurt and her hometown opera company, Atlanta Opera.
