Native New Mexican and award winning sculptor, Deborah Rael-Buckley, invites you to visit her studio in Ranchos de Taos. She creates large-scale, narrative sculptures in ceramic and mixed media at her studio, that explore memory and New Mexico culture.
Since she was ten years old, Cheryl wanted to be an artist, and nature has always been her source of inspiration. Currently she is working in oil using watercolor techniques to achieve a tonalist quality to her landscapes. For more than 35 years Cheryl has been painting and exhibiting in both regional and national shows. She is a signature member of the American Women Artists. Cheryl also has a passion for creating concrete sculpture influenced by both nature and the Southwest native american culture.
