The Taos Chamber Music Group celebrates the holidays with the music of France in “Joyeux Noel” on Saturday and Sunday, December 16 & 17, 5:30 pm at the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos.
Virtuoso pianist Gleb Ivanov will be featured in Maurice Ravel’s Miroirs and joined by TCMG flutist Nancy Laupheimer for Philippe Gaubert’s Third Flute Sonata, and by violinist LP How and cellist Sally Guenther for Saint-Saens' Second Piano Trio.

Honoring visual and musical works by women, the Taos Chamber Music Group presents a program of women composers performed by women on November 11 & 12, 5:30 p.m. at the Harwood Museum of Art.
Pieces include Clara Schumann’s Piano Trio, a trio sonata by Italian Baroque composer Anna Bon, and a variety of contemporary compositions.

GallupARTS is now accepting applications for our 3rd annual Second Street Arts Festival in downtown Gallup on November 18 from 10am - 4pm.
We offer booth space to handmade arts & crafts and food vendors, have live music and get our hands dirty with a Kids' Craft Corner. The last two festivals have had upwards of 50 artists participate and 600 shoppers attend. Please share with your networks--we'd love to host artists from out of town! NeoRio offers thought-provoking art installations right on the rim of the Rio Grande gorge. Now in its 9th year, this annual event is truly a unique experience for the Taos area. The outdoor contemporary art and community event will take place at Montoso Campground at Wild Rivers in the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument on September 16, from 4-9pm.
“NeoRio gives us an opportunity to see the natural world through the eyes of gifted, creative artists, and their visions take turns surprising, amazing, or entertaining me,” muses Monument Manager, John Bailey, reflecting on the annual event.

The Taos Chamber Music Group’s Twenty-fifth Anniversary Season opens on Saturday, September 30 and October 1, 5:30 p.m. at the Harwood Museum of Art. The American String Quartet will be featured in an All-American program. Works include Zhou Tian’s Viaje (Journey) for flute and string quartet (with Nancy Laupheimer), Robert Sirota’s American Pilgrimage for string quartet, Samuel Barber’s Adagio, and Dvorak’s “American” String Quartet.
This is the first of seven programs on TCMG’s 2017-18 series that runs through May, 2018.
